Chef Leonice moved to Charleston five years ago and quickly fell in love with the city’s rich history and stunning beaches. Now, she’s excited to blend her passion for cooking with her newfound love for Charleston.
Born and raised in South Brazil, Chef Leonice grew up surrounded by the warmth of woodburning stoves in her German and Italian grandmothers’ kitchens. From those early memories to her formal education at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in Chicago, and now cooking in the home she shares with her husband, Leonice has honed her skills and developed a deep belief that food has the power to bring people together and create lasting memories.
Chef Leonice is thrilled to embark on this new chapter as part of the Chefs for Seniors team, where she’ll combine her extensive culinary experience, love for cooking, and commitment to crafting delicious meals that cater to all dietary needs and preferences—whether for daily meals or special occasions.
