Joe, a native New Jerseyan who raised his family in Clifton, ran a successful business in New Jersey for over 40 years before recently selling the company. Currently, Joe is also holding a supportive role in this new venture, assisting with the transition of his prior business while contributing his culinary expertise and business experience to Chefs for Seniors. Throughout his life, preparing wholesome, delicious meals for friends and family has been a true passion—one of the many reasons he caught Kat’s eye.
Kat, originally from Oregon, built and ran multiple businesses in the wedding industry, including a catering company, before moving to the East Coast in 2009. Over the past six years, she has worked extensively in sales and business development within senior care, gaining deep insight into what it takes to provide exceptional service and support to older adults.
Together, Kat and Joe have combined their expertise, passion, and dedication to create Chefs for Seniors Bergen County. Their mission is to bring client excellence to every household: treating each client with respect, grace, and a personalized approach, while delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals that also foster socialization and joy.
