Chef Corey Cooke’s culinary journey began early, helping his family with things like cooking dinner with his grandparents and baking cookies with his mom. Eventually, he went on to graduate culinary school and now has over 20 years of experience cooking. He has worked at many different types of restaurants throughout those years, from pizza to fine dining. From a young age, Corey has felt a connection with seniors. When he would visit his great-grandmother in her nursing home during meal times, he enjoyed helping and talking to the other residents. Corey used to volunteer in their kosher kitchen every so often, which was a valuable and rewarding experience. After years of working late nights, missing important dates, holidays, and birthdays, it was time for a change. Since he wanted to make his own schedule and make a meaningful impact in people’s lives with his passion and skill for delicious and healthy food, becoming a Personal Chef and Chefs for Seniors franchise owner was a perfect fit!
