Chef Ming brings a unique background to Chefs for Seniors with a distinguished 30-year career in Consulting and Financial Services, having worked for Morgan Stanley, HSBC, and Accenture. Originally from the Philippines, Chef Ming’s culinary journey began in 2000 when he enrolled as a weekend work-study student at the Institute of Culinary Education (formerly Peter Kump’s Cooking School), all while working as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley. He completed the Professional Culinary Arts Program and interned at Daniel Boulud’s renowned restaurant, Daniel, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
With a deep appreciation for the primal importance of food, Chef Ming believes that good nutrition is the foundation of overall wellness, especially for seniors as they age. Chef Ming and his team collaborate closely with clients and their caregivers to design customized meal plans that are healthy, delicious, interesting, and affordable. Their goal is to build meaningful relationships with seniors over shared meals, creating an experience that nourishes both body and spirit.
