John Seely has 24 years of experience owning and operating restaurants across Denver, Colorado; Mystic, Connecticut; and Central Pennsylvania. Following this, he dedicated a decade to co-managing a non-profit organization with his wife, Juanita, focusing on supporting individuals with disabilities in community living and employment. John attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
Currently, John resides in Avon Lake, Ohio, with his wife and two adult sons. He enjoys spending time by the lake, walking his dog in the Metroparks, traveling, and participating in men’s weekend retreats. He is also an avid college football fan.
John’s mission for Chefs for Seniors is to collaborate with families to provide freshly prepared, healthy meals in their homes. He possesses extensive knowledge of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free cuisines. His passion lies in understanding and educating others on the profound impact food has on our bodies, hearts, souls, and minds.
