Bryan Selby grew up in Augusta, Georgia, where his father ignited his early passion for cooking. One of Bryan’s first memories in the kitchen involves making onion rings for his family—a venture that went well, aside from learning the hard way not to touch his eyes after handling onions!
Bryan attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, earning a bachelor’s degree in risk management. He spent five years working as an insurance agent before deciding to pursue his true passion for the culinary arts.
He now has over 20 years of experience in food service, from prep cook to sous chef to serving to food sales.
Bryan’s role with Chef For Seniors allows him to be a personal chef preparing senior meals and combine his love of food with his desire to help others, making it an ideal opportunity that reflects both his skills and values.
