Over the years, he honed his skills in various restaurants across New York and Florida before becoming the chef/owner of Prego Italian Restaurant in Bradenton.
After five successful years at Prego, Chef Bret transitioned to a more fulfilling role—mentoring the next generation of chefs as an instructor at Manatee Technical College. His expertise extended beyond the classroom, contributing to fundraising efforts for events such as the Suncoast Wine Fest, Village de Chef, and the Bill Galvano Golf Tournament.
