Chefs For Seniors Sarasota, a personal chef service, is owned and operated by Pete Mendola, a Johnson & Wales (Rhode Island) Culinary Graduate. Pete has over 20 years of experience in the Food Service Industry, focused as a chef in fine dining food service establishments. He has also managed and was responsible for large catering facilities with dietary-specific menu creation. Pete strongly believes seniors need a personalized, tasty and comforting food experience to be able to make the most of their lives.
Pete is a Baltimore, MD native who moved to Sarasota in 2020. He has been married to an amazing woman for 20 years and has 2 special daughters. His favorite child is the family’s Goldendoodle, which happens to be the only child who listens! They all enjoy time as a family at the beach, that’s easily the most popular thing in the Mendola home. They also like to go on family bike rides around all the great parks in the area. If there is any “alone time” you’ll find Pete fishing in one of the million accesses of the Gulf Coast and waterways.
