Long-time West Valley residents Michael and Reyna Bergman have both had a passion for culinary arts from a young age—Michael always dreamed of becoming a chef, while Reyna aspired to own a restaurant. Over the years, Michael built a career preparing meals and managing kitchens throughout the Valley, even traveling the country cooking for musicians and rock bands. (If you’re curious about which bands, you’ll have to ask him directly!) Reyna’s love for food came from watching and helping her grandmother and aunt in the kitchen, where she developed a deep appreciation for cooking and sharing meals with others. She spent much of her career in hospitality and restaurant management.
As Michael’s career progressed, he found joy and fulfillment in managing senior communities and building meaningful connections with the senior population. This experience sparked a desire to combine his culinary expertise with his passion for serving seniors.
Chefs for Seniors is the perfect way for Michael and Reyna to blend their love for cooking with their commitment to improving the lives of seniors in their community. They are excited to open a Chefs for Seniors franchise in Sun City and the surrounding areas, dedicated to making a positive impact on seniors’ health and well-being.
