We are happy to introduce Randy Harris as one of our newest franchisees. Randy is an Executive Chef who lives and works in Marietta, Georgia. Seniors from Atlanta’s northern suburbs will now be able to enjoy his style of fresh cooking.
Chef Randy says he is especially excited to be a part of the Chefs for Seniors family because it will allow him to cook for those who need it most. “When my mother could no longer cook for herself, I was frustrated that there were no good options to provide nutritious meals for her” Harris says. “She had lost most of her eyesight and cooking was neither practical or fun anymore. Knowing that I will be helping seniors stay in their homes longer is a very satisfying feeling that eclipses the simple art of cooking. Understanding that I can help families by practicing my craft makes me very happy.”
Practicing his craft is something that Chef Randy has done for some thirty-five years. He is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and has worked in fine dining hotels, restaurants, and clubs. Most recently, he owned a company that provided healthy meals to Atlanta area private schools. Harris thinks it is a little ironic that he has moved from serving children to serving seniors, but ultimately knows that he will have served two very important populations.
His franchise will provide senior meal services in Sandy Springs, Roswell, Marietta, Alpharetta, and John's Creek.
