We are growing! Chefs for Seniors is excited to announce that our team has expanded to include Kate Toews as our new CEO. We are also expanding to South Florida starting on May 2 and have two new chefs on board to serve clients in Boca Raton. Meet our new team members below!
Kate: I am so excited to join the CFS team as we begin to scale nationally! Having worked in the corporate world for 15 years, I am thrilled to join this mission-driven team. I am passionate about food and nutrition, and couldn’t be prouder of our dedication to helping seniors remain independent. I am a mom of three young kids and so when I’m not thinking about the delicious meals we provide for our clients, I’m trying to feed my little ones. I also grew up in Boca Raton, Florida…so South Florida, here we come!
Carol: I began my culinary career at the age of 6, making pierogi and other Polish favorites only from scratch and memory with my grandmother in her Chicago apartment. I later attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in Chicago where I was able to fine tune my skills. I’ve had the pleasure of working at a variety of restaurants and with various celebrities over the years. Since moving to Florida 15 years ago, I’ve been able to refine my craft while working with people who remind me daily of why I love to cook. I’m reminded of my Grandmother and the joy, love and memories we shared alongside each other in her Chicago kitchen. In my spare time, I love spending quality time with my husband, Joey and our daughter, Alyssa.
Daniel: Cooking for me is much more than preparing food, it is building relationships. As a professional chef and honors graduate from Le Cordon Bleu, I believe every meal should be prepared, not only from the best available ingredients, but also with love. And being a father of the two most beautiful children, that philosophy is my guide. When I discovered Chefs For Seniors I knew I found a place that shared my passion for people as well as food.
